            OWNER/CEO

Syreeta Duncan resides in Montgomery, Alabama, but was raised in a small city of Millbrook, Alabama. She graduated with an Associate degree in business applied science, only grandchild and only niece. Syreeta is a mother of two, a full-time entrepreneur, yes full-time entrepreneur. She is the CEO and President of both a men’s and women’s semi-pro basketball team and a men’s minor league basketball team as well, she also is a published author and public speaker .Her mission that she feels God has given to her is to empower other women and business owners that may be trying to balance family and being an entrepreneur, while serving their community, and to help talented athletes advance their potential, while being positive community influencers. She also believes that all impossible things are possible with God. Put God first and HE will make the impossible possible.

  ABOUT US

We are a group of volunteers who decided to facilitate athletic excellence, promote physical fitness, and sportsmanship with a desire to change young adults and help them stay off the streets. The medium we chose to create this environment is a competitive young adult basketball program. Our Basketball Team was formed to join and compete in the American Basketball Association under the club name of The River Region Generals. The team consist of young adults from the ages of 18-35 with approximately 14 players on the team.

The River Region Generals truly represent the cultural backgrounds that make up our cities and surrounding communities. As an organization we want strive to provide our young adults with the opportunity to learn, have fun, and experience the importance of teamwork and community involvement, we are gratified when our local businesses and individuals show their support in our efforts.

THE LEAGUE

The ABA has teams based in the United States and previously had international teams based in Canada and Mexico. In the past, there were traveling teams from countries such as Australia and Japan who played in the ABA. Additionally, there were players from other countries that were on a U.S. team to showcase other talented athletes in the country.
